Loongair Industrial Park

After a decade of growth, Loong Airlines has evolved into an aviation company boasting a fleet of 70 medium-sized aircraft. Looking ahead, the company envisions expanding beyond aviation, venturing into diversified peripheral industries rooted in the aviation sector. The industrial park, comprising the completed headquarters building and adjacent land, is poised to become a focal point of this expansion. The industrial park's development unfolds in a linear structure along Changlong Avenue, named in honor of the airline company. This avenue serves as the backbone for a variety of functions within the park, ranging from an aviation museum and hotel to duty-free goods exhibition and sales, showcasing local agricultural products, and providing an aviation food experience. Other offerings include aviation studies, citizen visits, and vocational training for airline employees, creating a multifaceted and dynamic environment. One of the design challenges lies in centralizing the aviation brand as the core, effectively organizing and accommodating diverse business scenarios while striking a balance between safety and openness. Addressing this challenge, a three-dimensional transportation system connects various theme units through pedestrian platforms elevated at 15 meters. Operations and production are strategically positioned below the platform, fostering efficiency, while open experiences are situated above, enhancing accessibility and engagement.
